Overall had really really nice stay of 7 nights. The decor was recently renovated, the room was comfortable quiet and newly decorated. The beds were comfortable and the staff was fantastic friendly and cooperative.

Temperature control needs serious attention. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable, leaving us sweating at times. The antique feel of the hotel is charming, but some rooms might feel outdated for those expecting modern amenities. Breakfast had nice options but could offer more hot selections to satisfy the morning appetite.

I had an amazing stay, especially enjoying the comfy beds and the impressive breakfast spread. The mini bar had complimentary drinks which was a delightful surprise. I would definitely choose this place again!

The staff was very professional and helpful. Quick check-in and check-out. Given the location (city centre) room was very quiet and one can rest from a busy day. Also, given the fact that my work depends Internet connectivity, I find it important to mention that Wi-Fi is free and was performing very good in my room.

The Hotel is very clean and well maintained in a historic building (albeit one which had been virtually rebuilt after being damaged by WW2 bombs. The food is excellent and the staff attentive without being over-eager or too familiar. The room I stayed in was on the 5th floor and was a decent size with a well decorated and maintained en suite bathroom. Cable TV was provided for those who feel the need. Free luggage storage is offered upon check out
No minibar in the room and the lift is rather small for a hotel of this size. As the hotel is near to the Isartor, the area attracts a fair few "shady-looking" characters at night and a number of individuals sleeping rough.
